The detector pen shows a constant blue light when Home-Fresh® formula is detected.
How does it work?
Our technology diffuses ions through bacteria cells via a process called ion exchange.
Ion exchange disrupts the cell wall and prevents the growth of bacteria. In addition, the positively charged ions become attracted to the negatively charged thiol groups in bacteria which stops the bacteria producing energy. The positively charged ions then attach to the cell DNA and stop the replication and formation of new cells.
We then add a tracer ingredient to our formula which is identified by our detector pen and ensures that every single product is protected with Home-Fresh® and resistant against 99.9% of bacteria and mould.
